The Ghanaian members of the church formed the Ghanaian Association of Stratford Methodist Church in 2007. There were 35 members in 2007, the date of the inauguration of the association. The current membership stands at 39 and includes membership, the executive and patrons.
The Ghanaian Association Stratford Methodist Church (GASMC) objectives are to bring together all the Ghanaians of the church and help with expand the overall growth of the church.
The Association aims to support members during family functions such as Christenings, Engagements, Weddings, as well as bereavements, funerals and any other function through invitation. The Association organizes trips to places of interests and charity work.
The GASMC participates in events hosted by the Ghanaian Chaplaincy at Westminster Central Hall in Central London.
Meetings are held quarterly on the last Sunday of the month and the Annual General Meeting takes place in July.
